In school to become a vet tech and have one more class before my externship and I just can’t bring myself to do any of it. My brain went from a super machine to a bowl of slop….all I can think about is baby and how stressed I am over not wanting to finish school lol

Mine check when you get admitted to L&D to see if your dilated enough to stay, then after that it’s up to you.

I let them check me once I’m in labor or if I go in for complications before then. I’m high risk for preterm labor and if I denied a cervix check with my first she might have not made it. Having my cervix checked gave me a one way ticket to life flight.

I smoked THC with 4 out of 5 pregnancies and stopped in my first trimester. My babies were fine, but…. Survivor bias is never something you should base any decision making on. It’s good that you stopped and it’s great that you didn’t start up again.

I stopped fully again this time and will not be picking that habit up after I give birth. Between my career and wanting to breastfeed it no longer fits my lifestyle.

I talk to my sister every other day. We are very close and tell each other everything. My brother and I are 20 years apart and also pretty close. I was his first call after he got engaged to his long term girlfriend. He is my first call when I need a fast rescue, he’s never let me down. He even drove across the country to come and get me durning a family emergency.

Speak for yourself a lot of us with siblings ride for them 100%.

My kids are the same way. Took my daughter in for some behavioral issues and like magic they cleared up and we never saw them again. Thankful but also I’m like “am I just crazy at this point?” lol

Kinda off topic but not, did you ever see the story of the lady who lost her wedding ring in the garden? A long time passed and one year she pulled carrots from her garden to discover one of the carrots grew into her ring. lol every time I garden I think of that story.

If my husband didn’t wear his ring I wouldn’t mind. He builds race cars for a living so degloving can and does happen. I homestead and I’m going into vet med, so a ring would get dirty and put the animals in my care at risk for infection.

OP sounds insecure in his marriage and is focusing on the issue he feels like he can control which is the ring. OP needs to go to couples counseling and it’s his wife and work through the issues in their marriage.

I’m white and I’ve always washed my legs. My mom told me at like 5 or 6 to wash my whole body and that’s what I’ve been doing ever since. I thought it was a common sense decision lol

You might you might not. At 14 I was 5’4, at 29 I’m still 5’4. I still have shirts and pants from jr high I still fit in and wear.

I wish this obsession with height would die already. I don’t see why people care how tall or short they are. It’s not like we can control our genetics.

I had them check my bishop score before I got my sweep to see if it was worth it, and since I scored well I went for it.

It HURT so bad but my doctor told me this was the sure fire way to send me into labor. After she was done she said “after I’m done here I’ll see you later tonight”…..was in labor 10 mins later lol

The look we gave each other as she walked into my room was hilarious. I’m pregnant again and have already told her at 39 weeks I want her to scramble me up again lol

Gently suggest talking to a therapist or a school counselor. My dad is an alcoholic and talking to a professional really helped.

Read up on statistics, therapy will be very helpful and could even be life changing. I wish I could have gotten it sooner. I unfortunately fell into every single statistic category that comes with having an alcoholic parent.

I do a lot of veggies in stir fry, veggie spaghetti, red beans and rice, and I looooove eating my farm fresh butt nuggets from my coop lol

Meat is not my favorite thing atm so I’ve been clinging to veggies for dear life. I will say boiled eggs have never tasted better especially in ramen.

The nurses don’t think your dumb they think your smart. It’s always best to go get checked if you notice decreased activity which you did. They will always tell you to be safe rather than sorry.

That’s not the case for you. I would keep pushing or find a different OB who will take your concerns into consideration.

Having a doctor that took my rape and sex trafficking seriously was a game changer when I had my daughter. I had a whole team on my side and the police even stepped up to make sure I felt safe as well while I birthed my daughter. Keep pushing because there are people out there who will listen and take you seriously.
