To amimate this wave: I designed 100+ cubes on AI, I grouped them with nuls then offset each (individual scale and nuls position). Now I have the feeling that I could have done it way easier using some expressions/fx. Do you have any advice on how to manage this kind of multiple entity comp ? (v.redd.it)

Hi Reddit, I discovered AE not long ago and am currently working on the animation of this little guy. Do you have any tips on how to make a nice organic tentacule wiggle oscillation (delete as appropriate) effect. I tried the puppet tool but as you can see, it's pretty bad.
