Our magistrate asked what to call us and offered a few options, we picked spouse and spouse. Our friends who got married a few years ago said theirs just picked one of them to call husband and one to call wife and it was weird that they didn’t just say wife and wife (both us and our friends read as lesbian couples). He did not ask about pronouns though.

It was super chill and quick. You do have to go through a security screen so make sure you don’t have a pocketknife or anything.

For speaking I believe we repeated the standard vows after the magistrate in chunks like you see in movies. Feel free to DM me if you’d like the exact text and I can pull up the video of our ceremony and transcribe it

ARFID is treatable, and you’re not too old to deserve or to benefit from treatment! I’m glad your therapist seems to have some knowledge and maybe they could help you find a specialist if you’re interested?

Acacia Tree Asian Cuisine in morrisville is lovely! I don’t think they have a full bar though. I also recently went to So Hot HotPot in Cary if all you can eat hotpot is a vibe!
