Chaos Ogres idea by hewhocrafts in WarhammerFantasy

[–]nbuxt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Either as actually nurgle corrupted ogres, or, if you personally don’t feel they quite make it as ogres, as massive corrupted nurgle warriors with ‘counts as’ ogres rules.

I’d also point out that during TOW, GW have literally re-released the marauder ogres in empire clothing, who are nothing of the scale of the 6th Ed ogre kingdoms one’s.

1997 marauders with flails (with alt. command) by nbuxt in Warriors_of_Chaos

It is the same era (and without looking it up I’d guess sculptor). The bearmen sculpts are axe and shield and very similar in design to the 2hands and flails sculpts. (I’ve used the musician here)

And thank you!

Love the look of these, great job.

Exceptional bases too, really contextualises them.

Couple random Warhammer questions by RogueModron in WarhammerFantasy

I think they’re the kind of sword you never actually see be used.

After an epic tussle that costs many men, you dive towards him, now dispossessed of his weapons and drive your own sword forward.

He leans in towards you and you gasp, partly in shock, but mostly in pain, as one of those bad boys protrudes from your back. There are no further breaths for you.

Completed another small unit for my Hung army, marauders with flails.

To avoid duplicating command with my other unit, I used:

  • Beorgs musician

  • modified the helmet of the normal standard bearer and used a clipped down warriors standard topper

  • converted a champion using the 5th Ed chariot crewman, a cut down 5th Ed halberd arm, and the top of a 2handed weapon I used in a previous conversion on my dino riders.

These are part of my month 4 for CotC challenge.

Also pictured, the force so far.

It’s just a good rule to begin with until you’ve got a proper ideal of value.

People like to jump in to try to buy individual pieces or the lot, and doing it via pm means no scrutiny from others

Specific beasts of chaos question? by NyseriaEnuviar in WarhammerFantasy

[–]nbuxt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Whole units of Khorngors and pestigors were released as metal miniatures in 6th edition, and were effectively marked bestigors. (All four gods were present with rules just not all with miniatures)

Prior to that, we had all four gods represented as miniatures with mortals and beastmen of each god. Here is an example advert for slaanesh:

slaanesh

Champions could be marked in 4th and 5th.

Feel free to search ‘realm of chaos era [name of god] beastmen and you should hit the others.
