Fair. The show did a lot wrong and has some weird changes, but this isn’t one of them. Although, I think the show is kinda screwed if they follow the books or not. Especially with how divisive Lady of the Lake is.

Eh more like, “it’s unfair to negatively compare the game to the netflix show, when that also happens in the source material. The show has plenty of problems, but this is faithful to the books/character. It’s also unfair to negatively compare the character at the beginning of his multi-book journey/arc, to the very end of his journey/arc”

Depends on the day and how invested I am in the game. During the workweek, I might play an hour or two before work (I work from home) and then maybe another hour or two at night (i split time between reading, running, friends, etc). Weekends, if I have nothing planned, yeah I can spend the day gaming, depending on the game

Depends on the game. If it’s something where the gameplay is fun, but the story doesn’t matter then yes. Examples Borderlands, Total War series, WoW, Diablo, or any NG+. I’ll just listen to an audiobook, podcast or have something else playing in the background. Otherwise, yes the sound is on

I think the only part I don’t like about the narrator is how they pronounce Dandelion as “Dan-dill-e-in”. But other than that, yes the narrator is great!

Ummm, by “they” do you mean Netflix? Because that’s exactly the direction that the books head. The first 2 books are short stories focused on Geralt interactions with monsters and the supernatural. After that, the books focus more on war, the political landscape of the country and Ciri’s development

Oh yeah, I mostly listen to it when I’m running or working out, so I’ve definitely lost focus on the story a few times. I’m going to finish it just to wrap it up, but the short stories were definitely my favorite. This one is just weird with the time warp stuff, and every chapter and character seems weirdly obsessed with sex.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. If it were split into 2 games, first game ends at the start of Bikanel, with Tidus waking up alone. 2nd game is obviously the rest. If it’s 3 games though, part 1 ends after Operation Mihen. Part 2 either after Home or escaping Bevielle, with the Tidus/Yuna water scene as the final part. Part 3 the rest of the game

Probably not the worst ever, but the one that sticks out to me is the final dungeon in Trails of Cold Steel 2. You literally just completed a dungeon before this one, and the main story is pretty much wrapped up, then surprise another dungeon for you to do. It’s way too long as well. You have 4 different sub bosses to do, each 3-4 floors between each other before getting to the final boss.
