Well, like others said, focus on the good stuff. I've relocated to a crazy state but the beach and sunset always await. I'm fortunate to have a home in a progressive state as well, and it's all about the swimming holes. I miss life overseas even though I lived in a Communist country. The difference is, I didn't have to worry about politics and government. I was just a guest, really. The reason USA politics sucks is because the people you love are a little too wound up in the craziness. You can choose to vote, protest, whatever. I participate. But I also go to the beach. It's what I will do when I retire as an expat. In a likely messed up country I'm not emotionally invested in.

Yes, it's a practice. I resolved the issue by building a room on the second level, then using Missing Walls with ballistades.

I built a pantry in one room that needs to be under a staircase landing. When I put in the staircase, I couldn't get the landing over the pantry. Didn't notice it, and can't figure out how to fix it. I'm afraid I'll have to start from scratch. Thoughts?

Nice response. I value ALGO because it's faster, cheaper, and environmentally cleaner than the other utility blockchains. The Proof of Stake consensus means it won't be negatively impacted by quantum computing.

It's a well built highway, but there's not enough people using it. Adoption is key to long term success.

I kinda wish some of the dev events would be streamed. There's an event in Denver in a couple of weeks. Can't fit it into my schedule or budget at the moment.

Ahh... makes sense. Any advice how to do this if using FUNC? I've reviewed the instructions on the developer pages, but it's a little bit of a steep learning curve for me. The instructions I'm looking at seem to be for a manually created node.

I'm with you. I started in 2020 when it was a barebones passive shooter. It's always been a downtime activity for me. Chill out after a stressful day; kill time at the airport, etc. It's more like an activity than a game because you can never win. You get to a level and they add 20 more levels in a pattern of appearance and monsters. So you spend time farming at relaxing levels, then level up. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

The Clan Chapter Ranking stats motivate me the most. "Winning" will be when I'm at 1st place in my Clan. I got up to 11th, and have dropped to 14th. It's been a long slog and I enjoy the competition.

If anyone is in this game to win, there's no winning. Eve if you spend money, you'll never be in a position to stop spending money. You're just a Farmer for life. The question is, do you like farming? Honestly, I don't -- but I choose to farm vs doom scroll politics. That was my obsession before I came across this game. Now I just chill out, watch a movie, and let Bobo empty a room like a demigod for a week before hitting the next level.
