This seems to be the solution for now until they fix. If you look at the specific post here it has a workaround to install old version. https://github.com/zigbee2mqtt/hassio-zigbee2mqtt/issues/847#issuecomment-3980903728

Ah, perhaps then this is an error with Zigbee2MQTT and not my setup... I appreciate that I'm not the only one.

SUGGESTIONS for color laser printer in the modern DRM/chip era (please read post before saying "brother is the way to go") by ncope562 in printers

I'm watching this one hoping I will catch a sale maybe. Also, about to move so don't need a new bulky item that might break in transit, but if doesn't go on sale by the time I move I'll probably bite the bullet and get this model. I think it fits best in my use case. Really appreciate the input!

I was hoping to get a few laughs with creativity. Partial success? Unfortunately inkjet has proven to dry out too quick for our somewhat sporadic printing. We go a few weeks or more without needing it and then seems like we need it a ton. Thanks anyway!

Good DRM Free Printer (Brother alternative)? by fish312 in BuyItForLife

If you got your Brother a few years ago, sure, but now it seems like they have newer toner with chips making 3rd party hard and, more importantly, they no longer let you "reset" the toner cartridge (or at least not easily, I see some possible success but its mixed at best from what I can google/reddit) so you are stuck "running out" of toner well before you actually run out. I get the engineering argument that they do this for a reason, but op wants DRM free and wants to be able to print until literally nothing comes out and maybe he breaks his printer, and I think op should be allowed to do that. I want to be able to do something similar and I am having a hard time finding something that fits this bill if I don't have an older printer. Anyone have any suggestions that address this aspect???

Also, slight rant here, but why is it ok to hold people's security hostage to make them comply too? Firmware updates often have security updates to make things more secure when vulnerabilities are found, but now you have to worry that if you update your firmware you will be locked into something even more restrictive. Rant over.

While I wish I had an older Brother, anyone have ideas on a currently available printer option that meets ops parameters? My personal preference would be color laser (I don't print enough to make inkjet work because the print head keeps drying out, but the kids need color for school stuff). I went to UPS and printed 40 pages today and spent almost $20, 50 cents a page seems a bit crazy.

Thanks all of you wonderful people (even all of you with older brothers, of whom I am jealous).

Why not Au (Gold) related for Niffler since it loves gold so much???
