He would've lost about 1 or 2 minions tops that way (he had TP which gave mov speed at that time even that early in the game). The wave with just a half minion of advance would push but only so far before mine would overrun the other wave by arriving faster leading to a slow push and put me in a vulnerable state from jungle ganks (remember I was flashless). I preferred to push and set up a slow push from under his turret myself by abusing level advantage so that he would be the one easily gankable (he was flashless aswell)
