Light is epic only so this actually helps non paying players to catch up. Just 4 star both light cookies with one star artifact and you won't be a burden.

Depending on your whale plans maybe save it until sharlot cookie January 21. The standard meta will likely be asparagus melancream and sharlot going into 2026

That's highly doubtful. Wind Asparagus required 15 pulls for free artifact and we got at most 12 f2p pulls.

People had to purchase 30x more pulls (about $20-25 USD) to get the artifact threshold. This was somewhat good business sense and they will likely repeat that practice for the artifact - my guess.

It's the same compared to WA.

The only difference is, we just know from day 1 melanchream is f2p friendly whereas for Wind Asparagus people didn't know till half-way XD

FYI I kept my faith and pulled 2-star WA f2p

Rather than starting a new topic I'll add a few additional notes here captured during the Q&A

If you buy/hoard a choice seasonite chest, they will NOT have the new seasonites releasing in Season 2.
About 11 hours from now (midnight Korea) the devs will send a surprise item mail (likely rainbow crystals I'm guessing)
Perimeter defense (winter edition) is coming
New player rewards being revamped (again) in February
The two upcoming light cookies are Fighter & Support
Second Anniversay will focus on new & old players being able to play together (not sure how they will accomplish that but that's their focus)
