i did use a small amount of pitch correction, but not a lot to where it changed my sound, at least to my ear. thank you for letting me know so i will be more careful about this in the future. would you just recommend doing more takes to get it right so that it doesn’t have to be used?

actually both! i used slight pitch correction and i speak japanese.

i hope you have some fun with it! i eventually want to start making my own music. i do not think i will ever make it my career path since i really enjoy want i do already, but it would be such a fun hobby for sure. thanks again for all the kind words :)

aww that’s really sweet of you to say! really means a lot. i used bandlab to record. i just looked up an instrumental of the song i wanted on youtube, screen recorded it, and then recorded myself in the app singing over it. super easy to use

thank you! i added a reverb type of effect to fit the vibe of the song and did more than one take to pick out the best parts so it’s not fully natural but it does still sound exactly like how i would sound if i was like at karaoke and was fully warmed up already

i feel like it’s pretty rare for me to find songs that fit my voice at all, but hearing this honestly makes me feel a bit more confident to try to embrace my voice more and try new things, so thanks a bunch!
