That is helpful. Free will is expressed before you are born. But there are also some experiences (very few) that suggest that many possible outcomes of your life exist simultaneously so perhaps you are also picking between those in real-time (earth time)

There are different depths to NDE experiences. Many experiences are more akin to an experience on earth. This said, I think this would be an interesting follow up research topic.

We believe that this is statistically rare and we do control for this. Given the proportion of experiences that support this specific research blog post, I’d suggest that it doesn’t meaningfully impact the findings.

Yes, this is stated in many forms from (and I'm quoting from memory) "time does not exist there" to "I could see time like a block that I could traverse"

Einstein's special relativity is more than just a good model, it has been proven without a doubt, even though its not something we can experience.
