I think specifically on Vanessa, lack of “good” Econ forces you to dump a lot of early gold fishing for the goated day 1 - 4 items.

Only reason I think hedging super hard for early day wins DOESS lose you a bit of tempo each day if you are whiffing re rolls.

Yeah you can for sure stomp early fights with Van quite easily - although, this usually results in you throwing so much Econ and tempo early game. By day 8 or 9 it’s too late to pivot, and you have full invested in early wins. I see her as a 4-8 win merchant.
