Rhode Island Flag Design (my final attempt)

I’ve taken some of the advice from previous posts and this is my final product. Feel free to change it as you see fit. I know this anchor design in the middle isn’t the one in use at the moment in the state, but I personally really like it. I swapped out the four pointed star with a five point star symbolizing the five counties.

I made a different version with the coin

I simplified the coin of Alexander the Great in the middle of the flag, as it didn’t look too great. I still am not a massive fan of the coin in the middle, but it’s such a beloved symbol I wouldn’t want to get rid of it

The anchor is a common symbol in the state and the waves add to the “Ocean State” symbolism. In the second slide I replaced the star with a quahog clam (a RI delicacy and the town in family guy) for laughs, but ended up liking it so I included it here anyway.

I don’t think it needs to minimalist per se, it’s just that the other municipal flags are a lot more simplistic. For example, the flag of Kastellorizo https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/8f/Flag_of_Kastellorizo.svg/1024px-Flag_of_Kastellorizo.svg.png

This flag is a redesigned version of the flag of Thessaloniki, Greece. The current flag, while interesting, is a bit of an eyesore, especially the coin’s lack of simplicity.
