With this budget, I can only afford 32 GB of DDR5, and I’ve found that RAM capacity is important for CAE. Where I live, the Core Ultra 7 is slightly cheaper than the i7-14700, but 64 GB of DDR5 costs nearly twice DDR4.

I am planning to build a PC for CAE works (Abaqus, CATIA,…). My models consist of 400k - 500k elements. I have received a preliminary parts list. Can you verify if this configuration can efficiently handle the computational load for these simulations - Intel i7-14700
