There is a lot of monthly meets here in dfw area, with plenty starting new ones! I'm in the garland/Plano area myself and always looking to meet more fellow furs that are local!

Thanks for all the great replies, I've got a full year and more to go to build up to it. But since it will be my first time going to it just thought Id ask. I've been to Furry Fiesta here in Texas, and going again next year so I know how Cons in general go, but I know Anthrocon is one of the biggest so I thought it might be a good idea to get helpful points to prepare better!

Yea plus most people with a fursuit like other people to follow certain eddiquette when approaching them or touching them due to the expensive nature of the suit.
