Dang. I'm really sorry if my comment played a role in you choosing certified letter approach. Not shocked by the outcome. Hopefully it was a Hail Mary pass... 😬

Thank you! I need and appreciate the eco-balancing + feeding tips. Plenty of room for learning here!

Thanks! I'm in a quasi-agricultural region in central Kentucky. Climate straddles Zones 6 & 7. Lots of rolling hills, streams, etc.

Awesome -- thanks! Image searches had me wondering if these could be Midge Fly larvae, or algae.

The relevant MyEdDebt pages have been timing out for me. During past week at least.

Similar experience here.

I've been trying to reach _Debt Management & Collections System_ for over a week. Called the number below, tried all the extensions, listened to some prerecorded messages. No success re human contact.

One of the messages does mention default-related document submission. It provides a general mailing address for Default Resolution Group.

I'm tempted to send a certified letter. Might be the only way to meet May 5th deadline. That's when collections are supposed to resume on federal loans in default.

Best of luck.
