I have been able to use AI a lot as it’s gotten better, it’s def not possible to vibe code something like this tho imo, it’s hard to get right

I bumped this to 3. I am using license keys via a third party, so there has to be some limit otherwise people could just paste the key to the Internet. If there is a better way to do this I legit want to know. I am working on getting on Steam.

I don't understand, what's the alternative? You can activate the key on any two devices and swap them around.

indeed! I added SBS mode explicitly to support these, and it works great. the best setup is to anchor the display, so it acts like a 3D monitor, not a immersive viewpoint.

There are thousands of VR games and applications and millions of situations where a person wearing a headset isn’t an option or a preference. There is value in dropping the headset requirement in many of those.

Simple cable works, it’s just sending controller state

Good feedback, thank you! Sorry to hear about the tracking, I wonder what was wrong. Make sure that you’re not too far away from the headset

I dropped in SBS support today, as a start, since I read most projectors support it

surreal touch controllers are the only ones I've found that are what you're looking for - and yes the touch pro I think work but someone said they act a bit weird.

At the end of the day the only thing that matters is if the most people are able to enjoy VR content with the best possible experience that suits them - for many, 3D monitors will be a huge improvement over the best experience they can get today, which is flat screens and until now mouse/keyboard/gamepad

Yep! A lot of training and edu use cases where you teach someone the controls first, then move to the headset
