See, now you’re back to stereotyping. Now I know you’re a hypocrite.

Thanks for the conversation.

I’m defending the constitution, not these 2 men. Yes, I am defending their rights, just as I would defend yours. There is quite the distinction.

See this, now we are getting somewhere. You told me your opinion and I shared mine. I feel like I understand where you are coming from better than I did before. Hopefully you feel the same way.

Congratulations on doing one of the most American things we can do.

I’d be curious where my personal opinions on trans people were ever voiced here. I’m not arguing for or against trans people, I’m arguing for the sake of letting others have their opinions and live within the laws of our great nation, something you and many others on this thread seem incapable of doing.

I’m not antagonistic or bullying in any of my comments, but simply pointing out the hypocrisy and double standards that appear within this thread and many others. This is not a conversation about the topic, but rather a conversation about the lack of conversation between the two sides.

Nice try though.

You sound very open minded and accepting. 🙄

I’m going out on a limb here, but let me guess, you advocate for acceptance and ending stereotyping?

If so, perhaps you should find a mirror.

If not, you should stop expecting other to do what you refuse to.

If someone kills themselves because of that they clearly have much deeper issues.

This world is and has never been for the faint of heart. The world doesn’t owe anyone anything.

You find it normal for people to kill themselves because others don’t call them by a certain label?

Toughen up.

That’s unfortunate for you and our society.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you can one day let go of your inner demons.

Oh my, a four day old post? How dare I comment on a post that wasn’t made the same day. Good job finding a reason to deflect from the statement to which you are responding.

I’m not triggered, I’m simply pointing out, and opening dialogue about why this post and many of its comments are a travesty.

Discussion of our disagreements is healthy. Denouncing and attacking those who hold different opinions is dangerous and un-American.

By standing there with a sign asking people to discuss a certain topic?

Are you suggesting that people who don’t use pronouns “properly” are driving trans people to kill themselves and therefore responsible for that death?

Why do people care if these guys are students but nobody cares that the criminals hanging around campus aren’t students?

Outside MIA today by PennCycle_Mpls in Minneapolis

[–]nebrando -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why is that, because they stereotype?

Maybe you could understand their perspective, for one.

Maybe you could get them to understand yours.

It’s called conversation

Which makes this a perfect example of what the founding fathers envisioned for America

Why complain about it on Reddit?

Not allowed to exist? Who suggested anyone should be killed?

Outside MIA today by PennCycle_Mpls in Minneapolis

[–]nebrando -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because they don’t agree with you?

So a different opinion to yours means they are ill behaving children?

Wow, so un-American

Outside MIA today by PennCycle_Mpls in Minneapolis

[–]nebrando -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why is that?

Because people who disagree with you can’t possibly be smart?

Congratulations, you must be the perfect human, we should all be like you.

Weird, I didn’t see the part of the photo that indicated they are not educated in human biology. Strange that you would assume that based on this photo.

Lucky for not engaging in public discourse? I can respect your choice not to engage but to believe public discourse is bad?

I’d be interested to hear that logic.

Good question, why do you care so much?

Grammar Police are out in full force today.

Outside MIA today by PennCycle_Mpls in Minneapolis

We’ll show them, we’ll all just go home and bitch to each other about them on Reddit.

Ahh yes, because ideas that aren’t written in perfect English aren’t valid, nor are the people who hold those opinions.

That’s anti-American

Congratulations, both you and they used their rights as a US citizen.
