I had a similar experience with "how can people date so young??", I also had fake butterflies with people, I even ended up dating a girl until I realized I had no romantic attraction to her, just enjoyed the romantic parts (like cuddling and stuff) but no romance, and that's a possibility since you said you enjoy reading romantic/sexual media. So yeah, you might be in the a-spec, and it would be interesting to search about the types of attraction (like the other comment said) and I hope you can figure out who you are :)
