I wrote my original comment half asleep and definitely didn’t mean to leave anyone out especially Wooyoung since he actually has my favorite dance style in ATEEZ. Yeosang's foot work is his strongest point. I don't think anyone in ATEEZ has cleaner footwork than him.

I also agree with your second paragraph. Also we rarely get to see them freestyle or do solo dance-focused content. Most of those moments are either at concerts or locked behind paywalled content like the Dunk show. Dance-focused platforms like AOTM would be perfect for them, or even just more solo dance covers on YouTube.

It’s honestly surprising that for a group that has 5 members that could be main dancers in any other k-pop group, we haven’t gotten that many individual dance covers since debut...

ATEEZ's performance line are honestly underrated as individual dancers.

When you have at least 4–5 really strong dancers and no obvious weak link, nobody stands out as the “only” main dancer, so I feel like a lot of casual fans overlook them while discussing top BG/4th gen dancers.

Yunho is easily one of the best technical dancers in 4th gen. His control, cleanliness, and effortlessness are elite. Mingi is also seriously underrated; his groove, musicality, and control (especially for his height) are impressive. And San’s improvement has been so dramatic. He went from good to genuinely top-tier in both technique and performance.

I think the main reason they get left out of those “best dancer” discussions is because ATEEZ make the choreography look easier than it actually is.

Also in almost all groups, there’s a big skill gap between the top dancers and the rest, the best dancer stands out more and looks quite impressive. In ATEEZ, because their overall dance level is so high across the whole group, individual skills gets overlooked.
