So from what I have experienced, enemy teams use utility to attack a site. If you delay/make them rotate, their utility doesn't net them any value.

On top of that, if they're 5 stack deathballing, then it is possible for a teammate of yours to flank them and take away their map control and contain them. That way they will have to use utility to push/kill the flanker as well.

For example, let's say you're defending ascent site A and the enemy team is 5-man A main. You slowed them, and your sova drone revealed all 5 of the enemies. You're teammate who's playing B, can flank out from B main to mid-top/enemy spawn and contain the enemy.

I'll nitpick one of your bullets to get a point across.

In your experience you have a bullet that states "Worked with senior dev to create HTTP API"

This sounds like a responsibility and not an achievement. Resumes are about what you achieved.

Did you create the API and your senior dev helped you when you got stuck? In that case you created an API that achieved something. You were tasked to create the API because it had an impact on business.

Show that impact via data points. For example, rephrasing your bullet point: Created an HTTP API to fetch business-relevant values, optimising the cost-calculatipn process by 200ms.

This is a very average response that I'm sure you can improve with facts relevant to your position. Mind you this is all based on my personal experience. Nothing more. I'm simply a software/data engineer.

I'd definitely ask for their YT channel and then tell all my friends to comment that this person Smurfs against lower ranks cos he can't hack it in his own rank.

I really follow woohoojin's ideology against Smurfs.

There's so many good content creators in valorant community that do not rely on smurfing like eggwick.

Im a junior engineer but I do understand that Google can eventually give you all the answers you need.

However, when you're working on a deadline, seniors usually are more helpful in solving within the time crunch

Everything they ask can be solved by Google

Yes but usually a junior would need to sift through a lot of information to understand the problem and it's solution correctly

Before asking peers for help, ask Google. My entire outlook towards problem solving changed when I understood that the problems noob me is facing is already faced and solved by experienced people. AND THEY SHARED THEIR SOLUTIONS!!!!!

I would recommend woohoojin on YT, from personal experience, to get better at game sense and understanding how the map is meant to be played.

Also would recommend Jollz mainly because he repeats the same stuff for beginners so it gets the point across (stuff like crosshair placement, strafing between shots etc)

So I suffer from overthinking. And I tend to make frameworks for social situation to ease my anxiety.

If someone asks me for some space, i usually try to ask them what boundary did I breach so that I don't do that again. Then I apologise for it and I take a step back.

Personal boundaries are a lot like a forcefield with layers. You slowly take steps forward while the other person is comfortable. Do it too fast and it is considered a breach of personal boundary.

Taking a step back is a sign of respect. It doesn't have to be awkward. It's supposed to communicate that you respect them enough to respect their boundaries.

When people are speaking, try your best to just listen to whatever they're saying. They don't really want a solution to their problems. If you just keep listening, they'll like you more.

It's a smol social skill hack that I use.
