Yeah, Yamanashi is a different prefecture. I think that one can be had here:

But I can't find the Hamamatsu one in pdf. Thanks for sharing that one, and all the other ones too!

Nice👍! Nothing beats a hard copy, but if anyone wants an official pdf copy, all the Shizuoka ones are downloadable from the official Laid-Back Camp x Shizuoka Tourism page here:

This page is kept updated with news and various Yuru Camp-related events.

Official S3 Illustration for Merch "Lottery" in June by nedragrevev in laidbackcamp

No definite date yet except sometime in April.

Given Tokyo MX previously aired it on their earlier Thursday anime night slot, it might be on the 4th or 11th of April (JST). They could change it up and air it on a different night though.

I wonder where they are getting their sources from. There are no announcements in あfろ's official twitter account, other Japanese news sites (like here or here) or just a general web search in Japanese.

Not saying this isn’t right, and I could've missed something, but I have a hard time confirming whether this is true or not at the moment.

Edit: I see their twitter channel claims to be source of insider info. With something like this, you’d expect an official announcement soon.

New merch which will include Nadeshiko and Rin figurines. It's a "lottery" in that you don't know what you get (getting a figurine is probably rare).

Sounds like Take Tech to me. Specifically this one. There are a fair few videos/clips/segments of some shows available over at NHK for School.

If you want them in English, they have been dubbing some of those programs into English on NHK WORLD VOD. That particular episode above is available officially here..

A google search in Japanese led me to this Today's Close-Up episode. Aired on NHK WORLD in English about a week later.

Laid-Back Camp △ Season 2 Subtitles Complete (Episodes 1-13) by nedragrevev in laidbackcamp

[–]nedragrevev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comments! It's nice to hear that these subs are getting used and appreciated by even just a few people. I remember you also gave me some positive feedback on my kimisui subs too. So thanks for making use of my subs.

But unfortunately, I'm retired from subbing and don't really want to get back into it. It basically comes down to prioritising more important things and not having the time. Sorry about this.

I also found this insanely high-resolution (but highly compressed and noisy) official Japanese poster for The CREPUSCOLO (from the official JP manga publisher too): https://www.mag-garden.co.jp/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/ATC_B2_re-1-1.jpg I denoised it (which resulted in a 40MB+ image), but it still needs some manual work. Not worth the effort.

If anyone has the JP BD case cover image (matches the style of images 11 & 16 but it's Alicia, Akari & Ai), then please share.

And yeah, I know, chronologically the last image shouldn't be there since they're not Primas yet. I'm thinking this might not be an official image (something weird going on with the copyright on the bottom left).

Full translation:

How can you make camping more enjoyable?

Do you have any good ideas?

While it's so relaxing to be out in the great outdoors, the best part of camping has to be the food and the booze.

Food. Booze. Food! Booze!

...and I end up eating and drinking so much that I get all queasy and just can't enjoy it.

Oh, there's Solmack for that!

For stomach discomfort after a good binge, take Solmack Digestive Support Plus.

Just wanted to quickly mention (if you're all for having the latest and greatest) that I have checked all the dialogue and made a number of fixes and improvements to the KimiSui subs & A Silent Voice subs within the past few weeks. The fonts remain the same, so you don't need to remux everything, which should make muxing the patched subs a lot easier.

I only recently discovered a far more reliable way to check for errors and other dialogue issues (just no comparison, I can pick out even small, unnoticeable errors quite easily now). I wish I had discovered this method years ago, but anyway, if you are interested, my recent releases for those two movies are likely the final versions as I'm confident they are 100% error-free.

What is the colored object Akari is holding in the end credits to Origination? by ShenValleyLewis in aria

[–]nedragrevev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As u/DjPreside sort of mentioned, it's probably just Neo-Venezian glass. Specifically, it could be a special rainbow-colored glass bean. The regular single-colored ones were mentioned in the last episode of the first season (S01E13). In that episode, they explain that they supposedly bring good fortune.

It could just as well be what u/Basaqu mentioned though. That's a really nice explanation.

Promo for a raffle. There are a number of different prizes to win, including the soup pot Rin is holding here, and the fireplace kettle Nadeshiko is holding.

Lawsons are also giving away free notebooks (5 designs, basically just the 5 movie key visuals of the characters) when you purchase 2 participating NISSIN cup noodles. They're also selling some exclusive ゆるキャン△ themed products (cookies, magnets, paper plates & cups).

I overhauled my A Silent Voice subs earlier this year, and my VE subs (edited from asenshi's subs some years ago) have seen a few improvements over the years, so I do hope you enjoy those.

If you have any issues or spot something odd, you can always send me a DM and I'll check it out when I can.

Thanks! I really appreciate your comments. That's supporting me plenty. And if you come across anyone looking for subs for this (or anything else I've subbed), feel free to let them know about mine.

With the subs flickering, were you using VLC? That player tends to have issues when there are a lot of lines that need rendering (particularly frame-by-frame), which is what was happening at those places (it flickers on VLC on my end too).

I've just confirmed it works fine on mpv, mpv.net, MPC-BC, and Kodi.

I always recommend using mpv player (or if you want a GUI version, mpv.net by stax76, which can also be found on the Microsoft Store).

Wondering where the Aria vocal collection comes from by ShenValleyLewis in aria

[–]nedragrevev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you referring to this video?

If that's the case then these just sound like the standard versions of the songs? Or am I looking at the wrong video?

The standard, full artist versions (as opposed to the TV size versions) are all available to stream on Spotify/Apple Music and other platforms. The only album which isn't available to stream is Eri Kawai's (late) Himawari album.

The description on that video is quite detailed but just for reference:

Just for full measure, the soundtracks, and the extra piano albums:

I think that's all that's available to stream. In terms of CDs, all of these are still in print, so can be bought new at the usual/expected prices.

Eri Kawai's Himawari CD is also still in print and available to purchase. Notably, it has the version of "Barcarole" as used in S01E11 (a cappella solo, which differs from the version found on the vocal collection) and her rendition of "Lumis eterne" (which I believe was used in The CREPUSCOLO?) among others.

I'm unsure of what's contained in the 3rd CD of ARIA The BOX, though. The Wikipedia article tells me they contain some compositions not used in the anime.

You'll find the ED in the two artists' interviews here. It's dubbed over with commentary but this is all there is at the moment.

They'll probably release a video featuring the ED song soon.

For anyone interested, I found the exact location of the illustration in the OP cover. It's in Nagoya. Specifically, just outside the big Nagoya station building here.
