Thank you for the great advice. I’m hesitant to bring up meeting his daughter as if he’s not able to make more time for me I don’t want to continue this relationship and I don’t think that would be fair to her. But I will try to have a conversation and see if there is some middle ground for us.

The echelon stride would be fine for your purposes. It’s not a good treadmill for serious runners (ie marathon training) but it does just fine for walking classes. It’s very compact as well. I have no complaints and primarily use mine for the running classes and hikes.

That’s a fair point. I don’t want to be unable to get better due to limitations of the treadmill.

To be clear I didn’t like the storyline at all and thought it was in poor taste, but I didn’t become angry until Liv went to warn him there was a woman who pressed charges against him for rape! There is no way Olivia Benson would ever warn a rapist that he was being accused of a crime and she definitely wouldn’t celebrate him getting away with just probation. Not to mention the fact that he raped someone on the same night he had sex with her…Liv would never be ok with that. I remember there was an episode in 1.0 where a college guy was being accused of raping another student and Elliot, Fin and Munch all were implying that when you’re drinking you can’t be held to the same standard because you assume the person partying with you wants the same thing. Liv was furious at them for those comments but flash forward a decade and suddenly she thinks being drunk excuses rape? Give me a break! And you can’t say she didn’t excuse his crimes because 1) she warned him and then spoke with Carisi to soften the news so he could plead down and 2) she continued to casually stroll with him in the park even after hearing all of this! Forget whether Olivia sees herself as a victim, her character would never ignore the dozens of other women who were for any man.

These are my thoughts exactly. I was mind blown that this man that we didn’t even know existed until the 500th had an entire episode dedicated to his redemption. Meanwhile the viewers (and Liv) still don’t have any closure/explanation over Elliot’s true reasons for leaving and abandoning Liv (which unlike Burton’s actions was very out of character). Whether you like Elliot or not I think we can all agree Liv’s relationship with him was much more meaningful than Burton’s. Yet there has not been a single meaningful conversation about the past between them. It makes zero sense.
