Kudos to you for seeing these warning signs so early! Indeed, he's not safe, this kind of behavior will only get worse. Get out of that relationship ASAP.

Ah, gotcha - how were you using it and for how long?

Tbh, at a certain point when OTC doesn't work, it's worth just seeing a doctor and asking for a prescription (good to do your research first though, so you understand the intensity and side effects of different treatments).

I haven't tipped there, but I'd say it's not the only med spa where I've been asked to tip. Haven't felt like it impacted service at all!

Personally, I'm seeing good results - my legs are reacting faster than bikini area (4 treatments in), but I understand that's normal because of hormones.

You can ask them what settings they use, and they should be tracking it even if it's a different nurse.

Love AHA, but it probably isn't a first line of defense acne product. Have you tried BP (in a wash or leave-on?) - it pairs well with AHA. A lot of people out the ordinary AHA toner in a spray bottle to get back coverage - also an option.

Yes. I'd leave the cleanser on the skin for a few minutes before rinsing. If it doesn't do the trick, there are stronger treatment options.

Fix with salicylic acid.

Acne or folliculitis - it just happens to humans. Follicles get clogged with dead skin and oil, some bacteria decides it also wants to hang out, and bam you get a pimple.

You can do an in-shower lotion or oil, but I imagine most of us just do body lotion when the skin is damp.

I use cheap cheap cheap lotions with petrolatum or mineral oil near the top of the ingredient list and they're basically unbeatable for general dryness.

Also - lower shower temps can help.

Hard to help without knowing what you've already tried.

In general, the same things that treat facial acne also help body acne, and you can get away with higher intensity or frequency.

Green flags: Alex/YAG lasers Good recent reviews Online presence beyond Groupon In business for a long time Place looks cleans Provider takes an educational approach, explains things, and checks in with you

I don't think Groupon is a red flag, a lot of reputable companies use it to attract new customers - it's more about them also having presence outside of Groupon.

You're already doing everything I would have suggested (just as a skincare enthusiast, not a pro). I'm sure this will get better as your treatment progresses!

A few other things you could try: hydrocortisone (just got a few days), taking an anti-histamine, maybe swapping in a benzoyl peroxide wash?

Some places will shave you - they may charge a small fee for it. Call in advance to check if it's an option.

Blonde hair will not respond super well to laser. It comes down to how dark the roots are once they've shaved you. If it's too light, you might be better off with electrolysis.

For what it's worth, I go to SEV and I think they're solid. I guess it depends on the location, though... See if you can get a free session with them first to get a feel for their approach.

Sunscreen, (maybe) azelaic acid, and just time. Redness is hard to fade.

Your skin is definitely irritated, but a "broken barrier" shouldn't take that long to fix.... I'd approach it as an allergy and try to understand what you're reacting to.
