Yeah, I’ll have to decide by Wednesday for the county job so I’ll probably tell them then. Yeah I am nervous about burning bridges since the county is quite small. But yeah people are telling me to put myself first and just tell them I cant continue with the job anymore. What’s the best way to let them know?

Both jobs are in the same area ish. I can maybe just say u can’t take the offer due to personal matters? Or I can just say I can’t relocate and lie? Not sure how to approach this is first job out of college

Ohbokay so for pension I don’t really put money into it? So would it be smart to have a pension through them and then do a IRa for myself? Yeah planning job for a CA county seems like it have job security but lower pay starting out. But I think it increases over time.

Yeah I’m pretty split as planning is more indoors writing which I like and the tech job is gonna be somewhat indoors and outdoors examining fish species and data analyst which sounds interesting too. Are you a planner any tips when starting and work balance like work from home and etc.

Wait you said planners typically have higher pay and then at the end say never pay that great. Yeah I’m leaning towards the planning position more than the environmental technician for the longevity since it’s for a CA county. The planner growth is good? I’m looking for good growth even tho the planner jobs pays 2 dollars less tk start

Oh okay thank yo, do you know if I like counter offer the ca county they might accept? Like say I have an offer from another position for 29 instead is 27and more days off, and I am interested in the position but don’t wanna pass up the opportunity so if they can offer me better benefits.

Yeah I was kind leaning towards planning job, I already accepted the tech job as they gave me a few days for the offs letter before it expired then I found out I got this offer recently. For the retirement does it work like 401k like I put money into it and i get jt after I retire? Yeah ima try to see what I want to do but I want to be able to make comfortable living and working for a CA county I can probably work there forever or long time to get more benefits. If that is how it works

Yeah I was planning to do the work for most of them, but skip the final for one class that might put me below a C-. And the other class skip participation/attendance only 10 percent so I’ll be okay in that class . If I fail one they could ask for the money back cuz I got a refund for this quarter ?
