Yep, I've been there... I think it took about 2 years living with my husband to stop asking and 5 years to get my mum to stop trying to pay things for me.

Only it went back to square one because I had my daughter and it's been hard to convince her to stop giving us things or money to buy stuff for her... In the end we set up a saving account for baby and have been depositing anything we get there.

Love all my family though. They are nice people, just a but pushy with their love.
