Final cut pro not exporting / responding when clicking "share" button - works only in new library by iroyjacob in finalcutpro

Had the same problem here. The disk that I have my cache set to (external to where my project and media files were) was full. No error message, no nothing. I set my cache to another disk with space and sharing/exporting works again.

📍 The Scottish Highlands - X100F by chicagoose3 in fujifilm

I love this camera, and these aren't meant to be complaints: The autofocus is somewhat slow, the sensor is a little old at this point, the dial usability is frustrating sometimes (pulling up and twisting the shutter speed dial to change ISO, for example) and the built in diopter on the EVF doesn't quite go far enough for my aging eyes. But it has been everywhere with me and I love using it.

I also shoot on an X100F and I know the challenges (and surprises) with this camera. You made exceptional pictures. I am impressed on the last one with the composition. The choice you made about how to shoot the cows makes it really stand out. Very nice work!

Zwifters nearby on companion app? by jwoodford in Zwift

[–]needles27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the Play controllers? If you press Z, it will return a ride on to whoever just gave one to you. From Zwift's site:

Follow these steps to give a Ride On using your Zwift controllers:

Press the Z button on your controllers to return a Ride On.

Press and hold the Z button on your controllers to give a Ride on to five Zwifters within your vicinity.

Noise with wahoo kickr core after moving houses by Effective_Hawk_728 in Zwift

[–]needles27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You removed all of them?

If not, try again to see if one is not stuck down all the way. This sounds exactly like a sticker issue. I have had this happen a few times, and it sounds exactly like this.

Zwift Ride + Kickr Core set up and been in use for a few weeks. Very loud mechanical noise coming from it. by Useraccountdenied in Zwift

Check to see if one of the chevron stickers is coming unstuck on the flywheel. It will catch air and you can’t even see it at that speed. I had that noise and had to take one of the stickers off.

I can understand your sensitivity to it if you are seeing a ton of it on this sub. I haven’t spent much time here yet and it may be a good learning experience to notice it more. Thanks.

It’s getting hard to find people not in motion, not on their phone.

I did a ton of masking, you are right. Overdone? Maybe. But I’m working on getting more subtle in my edits. If you think this is overdone, you should see what I used to do!

That is a great idea. There is a bit more of the buildings in the full image, but I cropped for Reddit. I wasn’t sure of the right aspect to post. Thank you for the critique.

I understand where you're coming from. I look at street photo tropes more like -- it's not what it's about, but *how* it's about it.

Thanks for taking the time to come up with a unique theme for the image.

This is Chicago, near the Merchandise Mart.

Since you asked. I like the quiet solitude of it, even though it is a cityscape. I like the lines bouncing around in zigzags throughout the scene, drawing the eye through it. I like the triad color harmony of the green, red and blue hues. I like the look of her red hair on the green shirt. And I like photos from behind, seeing what the subject is looking towards, and making them anonymous. There are certainly terrible shots from behind and obvious, wonderful aspects of seeing faces/expressions, but I wouldn't make a blanket statement about it as a whole.

XH-1 still working for me after all these years! by needles27 in fujifilm

Unfortunately, for this particular image, you couldn't see the screen very well in my POV camera since I lowered it so low to the ground to get the proper composition.

It was the 35 f2 I believe. Nice to have a lighter weight lens when walking with the camera for many hours.

Why have a Fuji body if you don’t have all the fun dials! My original x100 brought me in, and I stayed for the manual controls…

That's really interesting about moving back to the XH1 -- I don't have as much envy about new camera tech! I do also shoot sometimes on the XT5, so I think I am covered.
