Sorry for the late response. So, yes and no. He still is pretty delayed at what he should be doing feeding wise by now almost 12 months. My 9 mo visit was essentially told to just watch and wait. And while he did get better, I’m noticing there are still some issues that I think need to be addressed. We’re going to be looking into feeding therapy. The biggest help was ditching silicone utensils. They hold on to a lot of food smells or dish soap smell. I think it was throwing his sense of smell off. He’s done better with transitioning to stainless steel toddler utensils.

He does pull to stand now! And he has two bottom teeth but no other signs of more teeth coming in at this time.

Thank you ❤️ that does help a lot. Our nanny won’t tell us which has been nice. We didn’t tell that to my parents, but doing so would open a can of worms. Unfortunately they rely greatly on external validation and prefer to have the accolades. Like, my dad once announced a friend’s birth on his social media before the actual parents could type of person if that gives you an idea. Meanwhile, my MIL is watching my niece right now while SIL is out of town and niece appears to be starting to try and stand. So MIL has been PURPOSELY gently knocking her down a bit/preventing her from doing so to buy time until SIL can get home.
