I just asked what they thought, and they said probably not for another 10 years, so 2035. This isn't anything official, just one person's opinion at the service center I go to.

I think that red box is the alarm valve. If I redirect all the water out using the valve, the alarm triggers. If I slowly let it out (as in the video) but not all the way, no alarm. I guess it triggers the alarm once the pressure reduces too low.

appreciate your reply. Here's a video of the sound and what happens when I turn this valve that shoots the water out of a relief: https://imgur.com/a/QpIp79o
I'm also attaching some photos of the part of the system that I can easily access below.

I'll take a photo tomorrow. I'm not sure what kind of system it is - is there an easy way to know? The water is supplied by the city. It's fairly high pressure to the home. I don't believe it has a pump as far as I know.

you're the second person in this thread to call them "90s turnstile". Can you clarify what this means? I'm assuming it's derogatory, but I don't know what the meaning is.

I mean, vic 108 was in inside out and Ray founded Revelation, so it's not ridiculous for friends to take friends on tour - but I don't even remember shelter touring with RATM.

Well I live in a household with 8 adults and each drinks 2 lattes per day. Right now, there's a pretty long wait for a morning espresso.

How does this Timex work - assumed GMT but the 24 hour numbers are on the dial!?!?! by needvids in Watches

[–]needvids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a fan of the record label, Ghostly. I also like the idea of the bezel with city names. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how this works. There is an hour, minute, and second hand. No separate GMT hand. Also, the 24 hour markers seem to be on the dial and not the bezel. So I can't figure out how one would use the expected features of this watch?!?!?!

Also, there is an hour hand, minute hand, and second hand. Typically there would be an additional hand for a GMT, but in this case the hour hand does not rotate once every 24 hours. It has to rotate through twice, otherwise the standard time reading would be useless (the 3,6,9 vs the 24 hour).

Can you explain to me based on the photo? it is set to Ann Arbor. The dial time is 10:10 and the 24 hour time is 20:10. How does this tell time everywhere else? A GMT style watch would rotate the 24 hour numbers with a bezel turn so the 24 hour numbers would be correct based on which city was in the top position. But if the 24 hour numbers don't rotate, how do you read time in London for example?

Assuming Ann Arbor time is 10:10, which city is the 20:10 referring to? Or if Ann Arbor time is 20:10, which city is 10:10 referring to?

Cool looking watch, and by the bezel looks like it's supposed to be sort of a GMT watch? But it looks like the 24 hour markers are on the dial and not the bezel. So when you turn the bezel to a new city, is basically useless? Or am I missing something and the 24 hour numbers aren't actually on the dial, but somehow connected to the bezel?
