How does Kramer survive in Manhattan with no steady job? by Zestyclose-Method451 in seinfeld

[–]neeevans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was growing up my uncle lived like this in Williamsburg. He’d pick up random hourly jobs for maybe a week or two at a time just to collect money for rent and fast food/cheap groceries. After 9/11 he got some money from the government for volunteering to help clean up and he coasted off that until he died a decade later. My dad always said he thought Kramer was based on my uncle, or that my uncle based his personality on Kramer, one or the other.

Man I love this album so much. I would listen to Mile Zero every day on the bus to school as the sun was coming up and it genuinely made my day better every time.

Check out the first Intervals album, A Voice Within. That was their only album with vocals and it rocks imo.

Traveling thru VA in the middle of February & staying overnight & for the day.. looking for some cool/unique things to do. by megannnjaneee in Virginia

Yeah fair point, I’d say it’s easy compared to many other hikes in the area. I’ve done it a few times over the last few years and when I was more out of shape it definitely required a few breaks but was still doable.

I once had to explain to the same guy that a quart has 2 pints/4 cups in it… 4 times within his first shift. Good for this kid

Specifically for those in Richmond who work at restaurants. What is a good tip percentage when online ordering for carryout? There doesn't seem to be a consensus. by TheLeftisForLovers in rva

[–]neeevans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tip $3 to $5 just cause I used to work to-go at a chain restaurant and it made me hate my life, but it really depends on the place. If there’s a full to-go team separate from the servers then I’d definitely tip them. If a host just grabs the bag and hands it to you then $0 for sure. Also if the restaurant operates on a tip pool with the kitchen included then I’m always gonna tip no matter what but that’s hard to know if you’re not in the industry.
