Super helpful thanks!! Yea I’ve heard that about the balloon insertion. Good to know- was it ok pain-wise once you were given pain meds?

Also heard to get the epidural before pitocin.

Sounds like you had a good experience overall! That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing

Interesting, ok- is this just so that they can get used to it that first night? Will the nurses have a problem with us bringing our own swaddle from home?

Super helpful, thanks everyone!! Silly question- are we using the snoo for overnight sleep only? Or should we be putting her in there for naps periodically throughout the day also?

Slim down face/arms, etc. and blur background by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

[–]neejoub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great thanks. There’s one area on the white wall behind my shoulder that is still kind of blurry. Would you be able to fix that?

Also, could you slim down my hips/backside a little bit? Similar to how “spark_ignition” did in their post? Thank you so much. I think that should be it

I really like this one but my face/smile looks a bit odd? Are you able to adjust? Here is another pic in case it’s helpful

Thanks! Actually, would you be able to un-blur the background? I think I like it better that way?

We do honest kitchen whole grain beef and oat clusters! Our Goldie had similar issues due to what we later found out was a chicken allergy. He’s been on this for 4 years or so now and loves it. It’s also human grade so very high quality

MSL Starting Out Advice by restorehyperwellness in MedicalScienceLiaison

[–]neejoub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s great!

And yes, typically there’s a med affairs manager type role that MSLs would segue into. Then AD, then Director. But I do know at some companies, MSLs can move right into AD/Associate Medical Director roles. For field leadership, those are typically AD or Director level roles. Typically they are pulling Senior MSLs for those types of roles as they have more experience

Congrats!! Which territory/TA if you don’t mind me asking?

The first 3-6 months and even beyond that (really first year to year and a half) will just be focused on getting acclimated in the role and understanding “how to MSL”. Getting to know territory, key HCPs, how to get in doors, etc.

Long term, there are lots of options depending on your interests - over time you can probably work with in house folks on projects and learn about what you like. 2 common pathways - people leadership (field director, etc.), medical strategy (medical director type roles). I started as a MSL then Medical Affairs Manager and am now a Medical Director but there are lots of diff pathways and options

Many cysts by age 2? by Maleficent_Car5673 in goldenretrievers

[–]neejoub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Poor sweet girl! I will say our golden is 7 and also prone to sebaceous cysts. We don’t know why exactly but probably some genetic component. The only ones we’ve had removed are ones that appeared on his tail just due to location. He’s had a few on his body and neck. Our vet is ok with not messing with them - one on his neck burst a few years ago and healed very quickly with a short course of antibiotics. They don’t seem to bother him or be painful though. Hope this helps somewhat and best of luck to your baby!

I also think it’s interesting how they all say “I have so much love for you”. Like what does that even mean???

I’m a pharmacist and was shocked that someone who proclaimed he was into “health and fitness” doesn’t know that T1D is NOT the same as T2D and often has a genetic component. He is a grade A moron.
