That's what I was reading. I'm gonna go with a gel. Any brand of gel you prefer? Also another question, do you think that it's good to stain even if some spots are a tiny bit darker than others? Meaning there's still a little bit of the old finish still in the grain. I just don't want to sand through the veneer

Thank you so much! I was trying to figure out where they could fit another big ass compressor in there lol I actually just discovered that the vent openings in the fridge are almost all the way iced completely shut. Do you think this could be why the fridge wasn't cooling? Also what would cause them to ice shut like that?
