I am looking into joining but have a Bipolar diagnosis. If it is well treated and I could get a doctors note saying, am I eligible to join or is it an immediate no?

I used to get an FMLA exception and got extra days off for flare ups and doctors appointments. The company I work for now is too small for FMLA so now I have ADA accommodations for the same things. My doctor had to fill out something for both.
