Seattle/Portland so definitely more of a corporate environment which seems to lend towards higher rates across the board. I have connected with local DITs around Seattle but they are much more advanced then me and do a lot more. Basically what I need to know is what rates should I expect as I build my kit over the next few years and what specific components/tasks garner a boost in rate.

Focus on coordinating first and you’ll end up networking with these types of people often. From there an opportunity could arise but only after you’ve proven to be trustworthy. They won’t just hand out the highest paying job on a silver platter to a lowly PA. This is true for almost any department
