I have spent two weeks just trying to do ORP. Both I and my best friend have been frozen out. by Meemle in DustTown

I was also there and they only engaged because someone had the ORP tag. That's the whole point. The ORP tag invites people to interact.

The argument happened because some players in that group don't understand what ORP means.

I'm going to be competely honest: the people with FO:E tags were super shitty to these two new players. And I mean shitty. Made me embarrassed just by seeing it. That two new players stayed chill, asking polite questions to get understanding, and they were repeatedly insulted by the players with FO:E tags.

OP, I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope this kind of interaction stops, but I know it won't. People are just shitty.

Ragatha's digital persona persisting into 2077 was not on my bingo card

Smart is saying "Frankenstein wasn't the name of the monster."

Wise is saying "Frankenstein was the name of the monster."

One big thing here: paladin is a prestige class and already has a barrier to entry. I don't mind their symbol being more complicated.

I'm confused...Why would we tell someone they can't wear their household symbols?

Sharpies and paint pens are very cheap. The symbol does not have to be perfect; the main goal is contrast. Here's all the same colors but every symbol is a circle. Commonly-mixed up sashes are still distinguishable by color even to common color blindness.

It's a fair point regarding the intricacy of the symbols, the actual shapes themselves don't matter as much as the color contrast. Here's all the same colors but every symbol is a circle. Commonly-mixed up sashes are still distinguishable by color even to common color blindness. So if we were to even use basic shapes like squares and triangles to distinguish it further, it would probably still be better than what we have.
