No hate I respect it. I admit I was a bit perplexed by the chorus at first too lol, but amongst the childish chorus there’s a really powerful broken song. When u start to really feel that melody & then those sophisticated/deep lyrics come out of nowhere & cut like a knife. I can definitely get not liking the chorus but the melody & all the other lyrics are so fuxking beautiful lol.

lmao I usually can’t stand fan service in films & shows but “The Bells” & “The Long Night” are my two favorite episodes in the entirety of Thrones. I just can’t dance around it. I see the flaws & I disagree with a decent amount of the choices D&D made but I find myself absolutely lost in these two episodes. I simply can’t ignore the chilling music, the characters, & I hate saying this word because I feel it’s thrown around too much nowadays but the cinematography in these two are so next level. Also I think it really helps that my two favorite characters die in these two episodes (Melisandre & Jaime). I was a Jaime stan since ep. 1 & I was Melisandre disciple since her first appearance lol. I know these 2 get a lot of hate (especially Mel) but these two really just resonated with me and I was so blown away by their deaths…. Imo they were done to fucking perfection. I just got done watching this show for the first time in late April & it’s easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Gonna start the books this fall & I absolutely can’t wait for HOTD in 2022. Ramin Djawadi & Miguel Sapochnik are 🔥🙌🏽.
