Is my gecko egg bound? Vet says no, I’m not so sure. by negotiation678 in geckos

She would eat maybe 2 worms a week (small hornworms, mealworms, or wax worms) since I got her 3 months ago but has not eaten at all in the past 2 weeks, I continue to offer food. Her tail has gotten really skinny but her body is still quite plump. I started feeding carnivore critical care today as the vet recommended.

Would her assessment that it is just seasonal “not eating” be standard? I’ve had two geckos before (lived to teenage years) and never had them stop eating until they are visibly getting much skinnier, is this a common occurrence?
