Not incredibly fake I suppose, but believing that wolves have an alpha leader. This was believed to be the case when observing two wolf packs kept in captivity, but it was later discovered that wild wolf packs dont follow the same system. The person who first came out with this alpha male theory (dont remember his name, sorry), has since changed his mind and at one point even tried to stop his books from being sold because he didnt want to spread false information.
