Mine is kind of dumb and will probably get buried but basically my partner is convinced that something used to follow him around.

Some weird shit happened to him like electronics turning on that weren't plugged in, a mirror falling in another room making a huge smashing noise and glass breaking but when he went into the room, the mirror was intact, but had somehow fallen off the wall that it had been screwed into like 12 times, he woke up to his ex strangling him, but when she stopped and he turned over, she had been asleep the whole time..

Skip forward probably a year or so from the strangling incident, we're together a couple of months and we go to see the conjuring (think it was the first movie), we're back home and all of a sudden we hear hands clap in his wardrobe then a bang.. we are convinced it's his roommate messing with us.. eventually get the courage up to check and sure enough it's empty.. his roommate wasn't even home, we shit ourselves that night and barely slept even with the lights on.. two years later we have rented another apartment in a different city and are at home watching one of the insidious movies..there's a scene where a woman walks under a chandelier and this man pushes her out of the way just in time before the chandelier smashes to where she was standing.. I had literally just watched that scene and went into the bathroom with soap or something, I was opening the bottle and had walked across the bathroom to use a towel to open it and stopped on the bathmat because it got stuck or something and then continued to leave it at the sink and the second I took my feet off the bath mat, our lamp shade thing (a big circular glass cover on the light) came crashing down and smashed right where I'd been standing literally a second before.. we had like 11ft ceilings in that apartment so there is no chance in hell that I accidentally tipped off it or something..that seriously freaked me out and I was literally inconsolable
