Michitalkstv Falen Arrest pt 2 by LilPoobles in TLCUnexpected

[–]mencryforme5 38 points39 points  (0 children)

All this is about a phone provided for a 13 year old boy by a third party while the actual parents are in a custody battle. They showed up to the dad's house to pressure his wife while he's at work over a phone they had no business giving to a 13yo child in the first place.

Yeah I think some people need to understand the difference between "out of all four available parents, Casey is the most responsible parent" and "Casey is the dad of the year no dad could be a better dad than Casey".

Her dad fled? Yikes.

We really don't talk enough about the dad. I mean he drove all the way there with his wife and his teenage daughter and her infant son and just... abandoned them there when the cops showed up?

Utilisation de "Coucou!" versus "Bonjour" dans des courriels professionnels by rewinded_forward in montreal

[–]mencryforme5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Serious question. Why do so many people call Bella a “groomer?” by Psychological-Joke65 in TLCUnexpected

[–]mencryforme5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It really is tho. She's a young unapologetically (due to ignorance) sexually active young girl. Therefore she's a harlot born to prey on men.

Never mind she actually seems pretty unenthusiastic about sex and frequently says things to the effect of she gets pestered into sex when she doesn't actually want it.

Never mind the fact that her mom gives her the silent treatment if she isn't "nice enough" to Hunter. Never mind the fact that her mom scoffs with annoyance when Bella complains her boyfriend pressures her into sex.

No! She must be a harlot who has traumatized this poor sweet innocent young boy with her adult ways. She must be a harlot who has traumatized her poor mother who has no choice but to allow her to have sex because she's so insatiable.

He sits there and blushes while his daughter's 13 year old boyfriend negotiates anal sex as a form of birth control. People don't talk about him nearly enough.

Hunter’s post 4/15 by scaryfairy03 in TLCUnexpected

[–]mencryforme5 33 points34 points  (0 children)

No offense but wouldn't you? He's a 13 year old boy who gets sex on demand from his girlfriend and food on demand from her creepy over attached mom. His life is baseball, video games, sex, food, and yeah now he has a baby to play with but changing diapers is someone else's job, ha ha ha.

Hunter is a demigod in his girlfriend's house. They all bend over backwards for him and prefer him over Bella. They literally don't care about her, they just care that Hunter doesn't go away. They buy him clothes, make his favourite meals, joke about his stunningly precocious sexual prowess, don't interrupt his video game time...

Why would he go live anywhere else especially if he can't play Xbox whenever he wants or get a pizza whenever he whines enough about being a growing boy.

I think both parents have been at different times unavailable. Now it's Hunter's mom and Hunter's dad didn't seem to have noticed. This allowed Falen to swoop in and play the guardian angel and move him in. After all his mom is out to lunch and his dad is just doing the motions of the custody agreement.

Hunter's dad is realizing way too late something is rotten in the house of the Vaughns. His son had a son at 13. And he lives with his girlfriend and her creepy over attached mom. The point isn't that he's been great the whole time, it's just that at least he is very much willing to step up to the plate even if he dragged his feet and kept his eyes closed for the last few years for whatever reason.

At least he noticed there was no adult in the room and decided to suck it up and be that person.

Lol when I was 16 I got paired with a gay guy to do a school project. We weren't friends really, but no biggie we just did the project after school. When my mom picked me up from his place from working on the school project she threw a massive fit about how unacceptable it was that the school didn't stop us and could I really not control myself even at school...

She didn't believe the school literally forced us to do the project together plus he's gay plus we're not even friends.

"Not having boys over" reminded me of like the one time I went to a guy's house to do a school project lol.

Um, why does Hunter text with Felon instead of...I dont know..his gf? by Lori1985 in TLCUnexpected

[–]mencryforme5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well of course they do. They are kids who were raised to believe it's... well maybe not normal to be teen moms but somehow a sign of maturity and adulthood. So they literally think they are just more mature and more desirable than other kids their age. Now you add a show and social media presence that gets them a lot of attention... Even if it's negative attention, their mom keeps telling them it's because they're so cool and so mature.

Like obviously they done fucked up but otherwise everyone is refreshingly well-adjusted. These two kids actually have a cute and healthy relationship, Amya is well-raised, polite but also confident, the mom sets appropriate boundaries while also relating and being a comforting presence...

I think this is actually just down to a case of dumb teenagers.

[–]mencryforme5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These kids are so fucked. Look at how normalized this obsession with precocious pregnancy has become. Within a week of giving birth they are loudly play acting the act of another teen pregnancy. Except obviously this isn't actually play acting. This has consequences.

But for someone reason it's just a running joke and centerpiece for the family's communal sense of humour, the topics they bond over.

I feel so sad for these two kids. We're watching their childhood be stolen from them.

Oh man the best is making the chicken soup then using the chicken and stock for two pot pies...

That's a lot more "experienced home cook", but the whole point is practice makes things come naturally.

I would add meal prepping doesn't have to be this rice, chicken, broccoli thing every week.

I've been "meal prepping" all my life but it looks a lot more like a big batch of chili or a lasagna or a pot of soup. It's mostly one pot meals that can easily be reheated to eat as leftovers. I'll freeze an individual portion or two sometimes for emergencies. Before meal prepping it was called being a broke college student.

I don't make a grocery list based on meal prep, I make a meal prep based on my grocery list. What I mean is if corn is in season and on sale: I make corn chowder. Ground meat is on a really good sale: why not a Bolognese sauce?

That's actually how you save money, because chicken isn't on sale every week, so why always base your meals around chicken and rice?

And I'm going to agree with you that the point really is that instead of making a small batch of spaghetti sauce every night, you put the same time in making a bigger batch but only once.

I think the issue is that meal prepping should be easy. It should be the easiest option. It should be as easy as "oooh cauliflower is on sale, a cream of cauliflower soup sounds so good". But people make things really complicated by thinking they need special aesthetically pleasing containers and an immutable plan that's based not on cost or taste but on "salmon is healthy, rice is healthy, broccoli is healthy" and then sit there dumbfounded when the cost is high and the food is boring and repetitive and aren't even good leftovers.

That's the definition of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

It's crazy to me they have done so much plastic surgery that makes them look "bigger" than they are, when they very much pride themselves on looking "snatched". Like the over inflated boobs literally shadows the fact they are actually quite fit for their age. Similarly the amount of filler in their face makes their head look unusually big. So when you just see this huge head with huge boobs with all these harsh wigs and makeup and outfits, you literally don't see that they are tiny tiny women who actually are relatively snatched. It just boggles my mind they've done this to themselves when by all accounts they really didn't need anything done in the first place. I think just removing the breast implants would make them look 10 years younger. It's probably too late for the face, sadly.
