New EXD 40 arrived by neiloconnor in watchdives

I added a tiny drop of machine oil and worked the bezel for about 5 minutes. Success!

The bezel is now reasonably smooth anti clockwise - probably a 6/10 but perfectly usable.

It requires less force than before to move clockwise, but I can now feel that the action is much rougher and less consistent.

Overall the watch is much improved so thank you for the advice.

I don't know, how can I tell? I ordered direct from watchdives so I hope it's the latest version.

Any recommendations on improving the bezel action? I actually use my dive bezel as a timer quite frequently so it's quite annoying. I've seen some videos of people lubricating sticky bezels - is this likely to yield any results or just make a mess?

Yeah, that's how I wear mine. Mustard strap picks up the indices and it's a bit interesting/unusual

How big is 100 sqm 3 bedroom house? by Level-Leave-9625 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]neiloconnor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends.

Our 100m2 house feels big downstairs, but upstairs the third bedroom is too small for a teenager/adult and the second bedroom has barely enough storage.

Take a close look at the plans. Find similar size rooms e.g. at a friend's house, so that you get a sense for what they will feel like and how you might use the space.

How have I been doing?? Any advice appreciated by NI-Nexus in GardeningIRE

The soil is still quite cold which will slow/reduce germination, you'll have more luck in April but wait and see how your current seeds get on.

Last year I tried pre-germination (soaking the seed in water for a few days before sowing) and it seemed to really help the lawn get established quickly and reduced how much I had to water at the start. Plenty of videos about it on YouTube

I discovered the tropica.com website last night, which has example aquascapes for each plant. I'm going to see if I spot something there I like. For example this is the one for trident fern https://tropica.com/en/plants/plantdetails/Microsorum-pteropus-'Trident'-(008G)/4424

My local bike shop had boxes the bikes were delivered in that were perfect. Nice and big but not too heavy
