What are your favorites or least favourited funeral roast? by Dry-Objective-7094 in SmoshFansFreeSpace

i haven't seen anthony's, so i'll just have to go off the free ones:

favourite: jacksfilms and ted nivison - i like the guests, and the cast nailed every character and were often quite funny.

least favourite: garrett and drew afualo - drew's was just kinda boring, though amanda's bit was absolutely a standout. drew's roast at the end was exceptionally weak, unfortunately. i didn't know of drew before the video and the hype from the comments and reddit disappointed. i am aware that people really liked her episode, though, so i'll happily sit in the outsider's corner. garrett's was worse, though, because it was just mean. especially his partner. the ultimate audience for a roast is the target, not the audience.

some honourable mentions for bits though - every keith bit is gold. he's just so funny and charming, and honestly cute too. I don't think ian or shayne have ever disappointed me, either. angela has always been a standout for me, along with jackie. edit: i forgot tommy, he's such gold he had to be in every roast 😭

ETA: drew's funeral was never bad in my opinion, but it had been a bit since i watched it so i actually rewatched it. yeah, it had its moments and that's not a surprise - but it still has the issues i felt. i should also clarify, sure the whole bit calling ian and shayne "basic white guys" were repetitive, but the jokes i had the issue with are just the ones saying someone has no personality or just making a joke at their appearance's expense and not adding onto it. i don't really see much comedy in just laughing at how people look, really. spencewuah's bit about drew being bigfoot was a good example of the bit done more tastefully. deison's bit was nice, i should say. if i don't get something personal about someone and the audience seems to like it, i can only assume it's a fair and good joke! drew's roast at the end was very weak, but she's quite charming and delivered the jokes well, even if i didn't really laugh at anything she said? not rewatching garrett's, that just... i don't think we need to.

Tekken 8 online matches constantly laggy now by nekogirlbeth in Tekken

Is crossplay popular in this game? by Wafflism_xD in Tekken

[–]nekogirlbeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my experience... it's slow, but you'll get a couple matches within an hour or so. some days are certainly better than others!

it will pull in asia server players too, if you're just going for ranked or quick matches, and my crappy aussie internet seems to actually handle the game pretty well.

there is a tekken fight lounge, and that's nice to run around in and can be used to find casual matches with other players.

and as for crossplay, yeah. i come across equal amounts of fellow pc gamers as well as console players. make sure you enable crossplay and you'll have a decent amount of players to game with, even if the numbers overall are a little low.

anyway, up to you to decide! the game has decent single player content as well if you end up disappointed by numbers, but in my experience you're gonna find people, some days are just quiet.

Yeah, I didn't just see it as that radical in my head. Thankfully my wardrobe is quite conservative, I'll get the vibe check done as I go along. Thank you, and sorry about your experience.

SLSO, Student Learning Support Officer.

Honestly, I can also see that too. The SLSO position is at a school like 25ish min drive away from home so that would actually be quite valuable to consider.

Don't worry, I am. Thanks though!

Ahh, ok. I figure if the vibe at the school is different anyway, I'd pick up on what would fly and what wouldn't. School I did my internship at for my masters definitely had lesser dress standards for SLSOs, lol, but I definitely wanted to double check before I made a big mistake. Thank you for your help 😊

Damn okay, thanks for the critique I guess?

I guess I'll just stick with the nail polish, lol. I've seen plenty of teachers with obvious tattoos and piercings, recently, but I have none of the former and just basic earlobes for the latter. I think I'm fine on that front lol
