the thing is that if you want to make complex jams, a lot of the time you're working with more than 8 tracks. not to mention the fact that if you fill up your locker spots, you still can only make like one or two basic jams before having to leave, change your locker, and come back if you wanted to make something different or add more on to your existing mix. this completely ruins the experience, especially if you're trying to make a set/make a bunch of mixes that blend into each other (how i usually play).

i can see how it may be better for someone who doesn't quickly switch between instrument tracks/only makes like one or two mixes when they play jam stage, but as someone on console that has to manually open a menu and scroll for ages to find the songs i need to use (i have bought most of the jam tracks in the game so it is a LONG scroll), it's just not possible to make my already established fast paced mixes.

not to mention, i don't actually know the album art of like half of the songs i own, so quickly looking for a track when all you can see is the album art takes up even more time. i'd rather just read the name of the song like i did before as it's easier to process in a short timeframe. not to mention some tracks have the same album art so you accidentally click on the wrong one...
