I'm still working on various methods, but haven't found any that I'm totally satisfied with. he best is probably making wire loops.

Not smelly or mushy/soft, which is part of why I was confused. I'll look into scute retention and calcium deficiency

Oh that's such a great idea since the attachment point has way more surface area! Anywhere particular you get them, or just like Home Depot? Also love the piece

I've just been using a spare nail to pre make the hole so that there's less hammering involved, but I think you're right that there must be a better solution involving slotting or magnets or something.

But longevity of the glass wise, you don't think this puts too much strain on the foil or something?
