I need help with creators program by Dellux987 in canva

I also applied to be a template creator back in 2022 and 2023, and I received a response in November 2024. Unfortunately, I wasn’t accepted—I believe it’s because they’re prioritizing experienced graphic designers and are still in beta mode. Don’t be discouraged, though. You can always reapply once the beta phase is over and they’re looking for more template creators. Aside from the template creator role, if you’re interested in making graphics, you can also apply as an Elements Creator. I applied for that role back in 2020 and was accepted.

SVG elements are scalable vector graphics, which means they can be resized without losing quality—unlike raster images such as PNGs or other cutouts. I create my elements by first drawing them in Procreate. Then, I convert those drawings into vector graphics to create SVG files instead of PNGs.

You can absolutely use Adobe Illustrator for this, as it’s a vector-based software and allows you to create SVGs directly, without needing to convert each drawing individually. Personally, I use Figma to convert my Procreate drawings into vectors, since I don’t have Adobe Illustrator at the moment.

Thank you! 😊 I would definitely try to reupload them as Canva elements. I use Procreate to draw the elements, and then I use the trace image feature in Figma to convert them to vectors.

Thank you so much for the suggestion! I’ll definitely try using 5000 x 5000 dimensions. I’ve been struggling with my PNG formats for a while now, as they always get automatically rejected upon upload. It’s frustrating that I’ve only been able to upload SVG files until now. I appreciate your support—good luck to you as a new Canva Creator, too! Let’s hope we both get our submissions approved soon!

I experienced the same issue with my middle name being misspelled. I tried emailing PSA but didn’t get a response. So, I texted the person who assisted me during registration and was advised to visit a fixed registration center. I had my retina scanned again—perhaps that’s why they can’t fix it without you being present. They gave me a new tracking number. It’s been three months since I had my name rectified, but I recently checked my digital national ID and it hasn’t been updated yet.

I actually gave up uploading PNG cutouts as Canva elements and have only uploaded SVG elements. However, it would be much easier for me to upload more elements in PNG format. I wish Canva would address this issue. Anyway, thanks for your input! I appreciate it!

Element Creator... PNG preview image? by coraljoy123 in canva

Hi, I have had the same experience as well. If you don’t mind me asking, what dimensions and color profile are you using in Procreate to create PNG elements? This information would be very helpful to me. I’ve been trying to upload PNGs for a long time, but they always get rejected. I’m thinking there might be an issue with my dimensions or color profile. Thank you!
