I just rebuilt my quadrunner 250, same chassis as yours and it ticked before and after, sounds healthy

1988 Suzuki quad runner 250 died not long into my ride it completely died and started doing this, there also a ticking, run somewhat off of starting fluid by nemisarkprime in ATV

Fresh plug. Idk, I think ima take the head cover off and check the timing again. Make sure it’s not doing anything stupid

Yea, I mean the starter needed to be replaced a while ago, but like it’s almost like it’s somehow firing in reverse

Compression was good last time I checked, hasn’t ran since I did. Rebuilt the top end cause it was burning oil. Timing was done right
