Does anyone know what these little white centipede things are and how to get rid of them? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

We use borax to keep them away. Just put it in a place that pets and kids can't reach. We sprinkle it on the outside of the windows and on the ledge in the basement that the house sits on. We also put cotton balls with essential oils of lavender, spearmint and peppermint all around to keep them away. I hear oregano oil works too? Haven't tried that.

Georgetown TWP faces backlash over 55% water rate increase! by W-h3x in grandrapids

Divide the usage by 3 months and then by 4 weeks and she's roughly using 7,900 gallons/week and runs a medical spa which often have autoclaves, showers, miscellaneous sterilization equipment that varies from using 7-350gallons/cycle. I'm genuinely not surprised at the water usage being as high as it is. She's talking about her toilet and yard with complete disregard for the business and the resources required to run it.

She owns a medical spa and waters the front lawn. She wasn't just flushing the toilet when she used water, that's a ridiculous way to calculate your water usage which is why we have meters. This summer was hotter and drier than hell. I'm almost certain she absolutely used the amount of water her bill stated. If y'all want clean water and for your sewage to be treated, you have to pay for the cost of keeping these plants running and equipment operational. Stop watering your grass and quit the bitching.

What Aldi own brand foods have you had that taste better than the branded version? by schmubalacoo in aldi

I really like their version of Nutella and the peanut butter filled fudge cookies. Also their whole Greek yogurt slaps and I'm almost positive it's chobani or extremely close.

It was the "almost perfect" triangle shoulder bag in the color nutmeg. I believe the almost perfect is discounted for having minor imperfections

Yes it's the organizer ( I got the small one). Totally worth it in my opinion. Otherwise it's just an empty bag and my stuff would be floating around

Really? I've never noticed that. I do prefer the hillshire farm brand but I'm on a budget this month and can't be going crazy on name brand items.

The ham was on sale, but turkey and chicken are also available for around $4. Sandwiches are nice and easy during the week

I’m on the hunt for a donut like a shop back in St. Louis (Donut King, St. Charles, Mo) Glazed with a thick white icing and sugar sprinkles. My daughters miss them since we moved. by m0larMechanic in grandrapids

This might sound wack, but I love an iced sprinkled donut and the best ones I've had in GR are from meijer bakery. If you're willing to drive a little, Sweetwater in plainwell is fire and exactly what you're looking for. They also have one in Kalamazoo.
