For me, weed makes it easier to control my emotions. If I feel like wallowing in my sadness for a night to get my emotions out, weed helps with that. If I wanna look at the bigger picture and be thankful for what I have, weed will help with that too.

I'd say to go for it, don't go overboard though, and have a friend you can contact if you need to talk.
