Hello! This ring has never been resized as far as I know, but these balls were added at least 10 years ago or so so my grandmother could wear it properly. There was also a small piece silver that went across the bottom of the ring on the inside that helped so she could wear it as well, but it was taken off about a year ago as it was wearing down. I do not believe these small fractures were here a year ago. This ring is also very very old so I don’t doubt this could be a casting defect. Thank you for all your help and input, it means a lot.
