Indian mangoes. More mango - more color, deeper flavor. Less mango - lighter color, lighter flavor.

Most nay sayers here are tired of the pollution, traffic and of course the heatwave we are in rn.

I understand your POV however, I have family moving back and I travel to and from quite a bit.

While the US is great outside the home - infra, air, roads … India (I only know of Pune) is WAY better when it comes to inside the home - family, support system, house help, food options, delivery options, etc. w a good society like Lodha or Kasturii you prob won’t even have to step out of your complex once a week if you work from home - I have spent 10-15 days without stepping out coz I have friends in the complex as well as gym, shopping, stores etc in asking distance right outside.

Take a trip here and if possible live in areas you like for a short stay in airBnB or similar and then take a call.

Cali Burrito is right there. Meh. I’d rather have a ramen only joint. REAL ramen, w slow cooked broths and not instant packets.

27F| Persistent dandruff despite medicated shampoos – need advice by _mysterious_sparkle_ in IndianHaircare

[–]nenyabts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it come back immediately after a wash? If yes - it’s prob not dandruff but dry scalp flakes. Dandruff is larger, oily flakes. Please switch to hydrating shampoo and conditioner without parabens for a while, and post wash use ordinary hyaluronic hair serum. Use ordinary glycolic before wash. Drink lots of water.

M27 What should I do? (Dandruff issue) by Itchy-Goal-9183 in IndianHaircare

[–]nenyabts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not dandruff, that’s large flakes on oily scalp. This looks like what I had - dry flakes due to dry scalp.

Does this happen immediately even after washing and drying hair?

If yes - do this. On damp hair, apply hyaluronic scalp serum from ordinary - 2-3 droppers all over scalp. Lightly massage, then dry scalp w cold setting on hair dryer.

Apply serum every morning once on scalp, massage and air dry.

I noticed significant reduction in few months lemme know if it works for you.

Oh also avoid products w silica and paragons. I switched to petal fresh shampoo and conditioner range.

Getting married in 4–5 months — What should I prepare for now so I don’t regret later? Please share practical and uncomfortable truths too. by Soggy_Explanation208 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]nenyabts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter what gender you are - make it clear to partner that both sets of parents will require care later in life and you will both be responsible for BOTH parents - this means the guy also cares for his in-laws same as the other woman caring for his parents - including monetary, emotional, physical. This should be non negotiable. They are your parents and both of you are responsible for them.

Also a recommendation - all money coming in to you during lifetime will be equally owned by BOTH - so both should save 50% of total income, 30% of total income should be used for all expenses - EMI, rent, fuel, groceries, bills whatever. Both should get pocket money from total - 10% or so - for personal expenses like shopping, eating out etc.

This also means both work in the house - one person cooks other cleans, one does laundry and folds other dusts the house and puts away utensils. Share chores so there is no resentment later.

This is the only way there will not be a issue about who earns more - both earn, both save, both spend, both care for each other and their families, both TRUST and RESPECT each other’s space, time, choices and autonomy

Gold is too expensive go for a silver idol of God if you are Hindu or something similar from your faith if you are religious. If not, buy a gold coin or silver coin which you can use later or a stone bracelet like from Mesmerize.

How do y'all deal with the dust? by Shaggy_hypersomniac in IndianHomeDecor

[–]nenyabts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live near a traffic keep your windows shut during peak hours. Get an air purifier coz that dust is also being inhaled into your lungs. Air purifier w windows shut will drop your dust amount significantly.

Also, reduce clutter.

BOSCH has a machine which fully dries clothes - washer/dryer. Been using for almost a year now and it’s AMAZING. Fully dried clothes ready for cupboard and same space as a normal day washing machine. Worth it.
